But we know that the loneliness in grief can be best combated when we get to spend face to face time with those who can relate to what we're going through.

So let us know...where are you from? As this site grows and every day we add new members, there is a greater chance there is someone close by whom you may one day consider a friend.

Hello I’m From Denmark. Rather far away geogroaphically but not digitally. I love USA usually and so did Søren. That is why I search this Grieving HomePage. By writing I hope that the future one day will look more positive for me. Now I am in deep grief and feel forceless. But my five brothers and sisters at The Faroe Islands where I come from, my friends their, in Denmark, Europe, USA and Thailand support me. But I also have a feeling of a need to express my situation to one or more gay person or personswho also has or have experienced to loose your most beloved person, as to me my husband and Friend over 38 years.

Hello. I live in a small town Soroe close to Copenhagen in Denmark. I lost my beloved man my husbond over 38 years 8 weeks ago after a brain operation DBS for Parkinson’s disease which he got eleven years ago. He suddenly got a serious brain haemorrhage bleeding four days after the operation unexpectedly. I’m still in deep grief, shock and feel forceless. As a gay coupple we have no children. Søren has no family left but I have five sisters and brothers at Faroe Island in North Atlantic where I come From, but live here in Denmark. I also have close friends who take care of me. I am very thankful for their assistance and help. But they Can not stat with me all the time.

I am from California.i lost my husband May 2, 2021. 2 months today.what a rough day. Nauseous, so sad, hard to breathe..my grief is very hard today. I am so scared I wont be able to handle this. Took a walk with my dogs..just want to go to bed & sleep
