Recent loss of sister

My sister passed away about 2 wks ago. We were best friends and lived together. It is so difficult to accept the fact that I am on my own now. I have been trying to keep busy but I am unable to go through her belongings such as clothes since I just start crying when I see all the things that she will never wear again. She was always into fashion. How long did it take you to be able to do this? Does the hurt ever get better?
