My son committed suicide on September 25th

My son was 18. He committed suicide. His brother walked in and my son said, I am a curse, no one wants me. And then he shot himself. I can't stop thinking that maybe it's my fault. I should've been more involved. I should've called him more. Since that night, my life has been just one big nightmare. How can I get through this? Will the pain ever end?

 

It will be hard to get through. The pain will hurt less but will always be there. Get closer with your family. It's the best thing for me for times like this. My grandfather committed suicide on the 3rd of October this year. He disappeared. And blew his heart out his chest. A hunter found him 3 days later in a field 2 miles from our house. It has been hard to deal with. I came to this page to try and get help. But I think what will help me most is helping others. I'm here if you need to talk, vent, yell at, cry to. Just reach out.
