Even though we weren't close, I am pretty sad. My dad died years ago. The loss of one parent is bad enough, but when both are gone it just leaves a person feeling empty even if there wasn't closeness. My heart just feels like it got shattered again. I am an older female without a spouse or any of that kind of support, but I do have a couple of friends.
