I lost my wife in Nov. 2014. The most horrible thing said to me was from my own mother 8 days after Michelle's death. I was at het house for Thanksgiving. I was telling my daughter the circumstances of how she died in a car accident by a drunk driver who was reaching for his phone to read a text message. Obviously my daughter was upset and crying. My mother told me to BE A MAN. GET OVER IT. YOU ARE UPSETTING HER. I was in a state of shock. I said to her. "Now to me you are dead! I kissed my daughter good bye, and left. I have not talked to my mother since. People tell me she meant well. That is most absurd thing I have ever heard! Until I receive an apology I will not speak to her again. God bless you. Take care. Prayers to all.
