eyepilot 13, hope you see my earlier
"threads" to you. I "talk" with my close
friend, Deb ( Deb 321) every morning and
every night before bedtime, bc those are
our worst times of agonizing loneliness.
I hope you will stay with us. Some
people have dropped out of this group,
for various reasons. Widows seem to
    outnumber widowers here. Lo

I am definitely checking out all the wealth of stuff on here. I really hope to find connections of similar people and so far I'm pleased. When I'm at Dialysis it is the worst/hardest for me!

George. I'm so sorry that you have to
undergo dialysis, on top of your mourning
for Valerie. I've had some scary health
problems at the ER, in the middle of the
night, and I'm not ashamed to say that I
prayed to God to live to see another day.
When Linda died, I didn't care if I lived
or died, so that's progress. I met some
friends who I can rely on, when I'm
down. I hope you have other people in
your life, besides your son. Lou

    Not really!
When I was with Valerie I just never really thought of it much... all my needs were met with a (what I thought was a) PermaFriend! When I got sick and left teaching almost No-One stayed in touch. I thought I had friends... 'til I got sick! I strive for that Zen like existence you seem to have! I so don't care about stuff as much with Valerie gone. Wish I did not need a fool car. Traffic in Chicago is horrendous!
