Getting Started: Reading List

There are many books on grief and loss. Search that term on Amazon and you'll get more than 3,000 suggestions. It can be challenging to decide which book might be the most helpful.

One book might be written for people whose grief is still new and raw, while another might be for people further along in the grieving process. A book written for someone coping with the loss of a spouse may not be as helpful for someone dealing with the death of a parent.

That's why we've created this reading list. It includes links to titles that readers have found useful, along with reviews. And if there's a favorite book of yours that we haven't included on the list, please let us know. We're always looking to add to our resources.
