Hi I've just joined. I'm from Helsby near Chester in the UK.
I lost my husband, best friend and soulmate in July last year.
I've been given this life I dont really want.
    I miss him so much.
I'm trying to move forward. Visiting our favourite places where I've scattered his ashes.
The distraction is good but as soon as I'm back home I'm struggling.
On the outside people say you're doing so well now. But when they ask how you are, what do you say? I'm ok thanks when you know you're not.
I know I will never recover from losing my love but I have to keep stepping forwards.
    The loneliness is unbearable sometimes.
At least we know were not alone in this.

I was an Edward Little graduate (Red Eddie), and yes it is a very small world. When I was in Vietnam I met a fellow Red Eddie. Indeed, at times the world can truly be small.

I’m from Des Moines, IA USA. I lost my father 2 years ago. He was 57, I was 29. I’ve been silently dealing with the loss but now, after little success, trying something a little out of my comfort zone.
