I lost my only daughter age 46, unknown causes on Oct 14, 2017
I haven't been here since the day I joined, I just shut down emotionally and wouldn't talk about my loss to anyone. Finally one day I started shaking uncontrollably and felt so cold. I realized I needed to get help and found a psychologist. I've only gone to two appointments so far and admittedly it's a struggle trying to focus.
My daughter Nancy suddenly had siesures and body sweats. Cardiac doctor after running tests could not find a reason for her symptoms. She was life flighted 300 miles to a large city and the paddles were used 3 times to bring her back on the jet.
We asked the doctor what the cause of her siesures and body sweats. His response and I quote, " the symptoms are not caused by viral or bacterial sources." Being puzzled I asked, "what the h@@@ that meant". The doctor stated, " it's an outside source"!! My blood ran cold but she was sent home after they tried cardiac ablation which didn't work. Then we were told the next thing they were going to try was strictly experimental and never done before. He would get in touch with other cardiac surgeons to see what type of procedure to use. ????
Nancy was sent home for her heart to heal 2 weeks before they would contimplate their next move. Nancy died a week after she was home when the siesures and body sweats started again.
We are left with no cause as to why? I don't know if I'm allowed to contact the cardiac surgeon now after the fact.
Nancy and her husband were separated and her husband belonged to a "cult" type church. He became mean, lied, verbally abusive etc. Nancy was not to get the slightest upset nor do anything but rest.
As you can read there is a lot of circumstances I question but right now I would like to talk to the cardiac surgeon if I can legally do so.
Does anyone have any of these kinds of circumstances?
Thank you for taking the time to read this, I'm searching for answers and help.

TO: Trinitvsite and Perfect Angel: Losing a child, no matter the age, is the most horiffic loss. It is not the natural order of things and it must hit harder. I lost my husband and I am and will be grieving for the rest of my life, but I can't imagine the depth of loss you must feel at the loss of a child . My loss was natural, yours was not. You have my deepest sympathy and I hope you will benefit from whatever help you can find and yes, Trinitvsite, you can call the surgeon. IF he refuses to speak wtih you, get a lawyer. You deserve to know what you need to know, although it will not ease yo ur grief,
    Sheila

I'm so sorry for your loss and not having any reason is so hard. I agree, we will as ever parent who has lost a child take the loss to our grave. It's the why when others ask we can't answer with a great deal of difficulty and sometimes impatient with the question. God's blessings and feel free to contact me if you need to.

    Sheila,
Thank you for responding and I'm sorry for your loss. I realize it won't ease my grief, however there are extenuating circumstances. At my daughter's service when all done I had 5 people come and ask me if her separated husband had something to do with her death. They knew nothing about the surgeons reasoning....outside source.
I'm trying very hard to not let that interfere in my thoughts until I can get some answers from the surgeon then I can go from there.
God's blessings and again I'm sorry for your loss.
