Hello, Question? Are you able to share your poems on here. I would love to read them and it might inspire us to try writing poetry -- it could be a great way of expressing our feelings. Thank you for the inspiration and incentive to expression our feelings in positive ways.

I could but they are not exactly uplifting and positive I use poetry to channel my anguish and fears over societal and personal issues... Don't want to bum anyone out ..

Thank you for your reply and i understand that they are personal to you. I do thank you for putting the idea of writing poetry in my head.. I find it hard to put my feelings down on paper and and been unable to do a journal. Your honesty about writing about things that are not positive or going well is an incentive for me to put "pen to paper" on some of the things that are upsetting to me. Thank you.

34 Months into my WidowHood Hell;... Sick of positive platitudes and bright-Sidey BS. No I'm not OK. None of who lost a partner or panther is OK. Don't know what the language policy is but my poems are full of Sardonic Social Commentary with lottsa F-BombS!
I lost my best-everfriend.. I am alone, sick, and so ever tired! Here's a sample

    While Screaming Dive Bombers commenced
Layering explosions on a grey Sea to
    Blow up the mind
    In a stage of Time
    Before there was Time
    Before Space
    And Money
Only Love and touch and feel
    Emotions like Naked Joy
No longer allowed in our MicroManaged
    InterZone
    Of micromanaged c*m po*p and p*e
    In a hedonistick Dance
Of Scatalogickal horrors and Sekret Pleasures
Of what does it take for Men
To don stinking loud machinery of puppets and Twine
    Instead of light and silk
    In the Afternoon
    Sunshine
Of hope inside the awful long pain
    Of crash and pound
    Cause and effect
    Bang and Clang
    Rock and Roll
    Pet the silky frog
    On its green fin
    No way you can win
But you already knew that itz
    How you play a game
    A game called Soul-Harbour
    Or Soul-Life
The Data they collected goes into your LIFE account
For the terms and exclusions of this Life or
Until you collect within 10 working-days
    Cuz they say compassion is
    In your Heart
    Ever
    Since you feared
    Holiday decor!
    I don't want to see
    Or wish to see
A dark blind world of hubris to the imagination!
    Ride your horses wild
    Rock your world oblique
    Unto death do we Part!
    Until sunlight is all
    That matters
    Two drums of Arms Stop!
The National Security depends on it
For this here Dystopia to work!
    An office in White Gloves
Is corded to an old fashioned phone
Stop He Says it's a National Security
    DataPhage
    Jumps into a Shiny sedan
    Hurry go by
    To Central Airlines 707
    Fight 227
    A kinky hinky little byrd
I see many big red lights
    Now I'm Lucky and roll a 33
    With white-striped gloves in
Armored Cars with white Helmets From 1959
A pretend note from the Past:
    Directed Energy Warlords
    Oh Jimmy
It is too much of a ride
    Of anniversaries and Holiday Panic
Take me for a ride in your Aunt's cosmick golfBag
    Cloaks float and flap
    In incessant rain and wind
    Running on Empty
    Is totally huge
When the particles slip slide and then
    Fade
    away into envelopes of pain
    I remember balance and warmth
    Hope and glory
A world about more than Nothing
    "Oh sweet Nothing..
    Aint got Nothin at all"
    The doors have closed
Are locked in my fool face
    So easy to judge
    An inchoate soul
    Full of frailty and fear
    and Salty processed Food
Can you learn to love the Pain?
Why am I always so empty!
    We live in the Daze
    Of No One F*ng Cares
    Fly away the time
    Dessicate the River
    Blow away the Fear
    When Fear is gone
    What is left
    Blank gods and pseudo-loud
    demiGods of flame and fire
    Pork and Soda
    Truth or Dare

HUGS, Thank you for the honest insight, it may be harsh but it is your true feelings. I think many of us cover up how we really feel and try to act like the way we think we should feel (as dictated by society. It is refreshing to see some one who can go against the expected.
HUGS and know i appreciate your sharing.

Thatz why I try to just post art on here...This one was actually quite tame! My grief poetry is even grimmer! I feel like I'm tired of living in a phony lying or censored paradigm.. I am tired of lying.. My soul is in my work. Thanks for commenting and much a hug to ya!

Doing nothing for the holidays is perfectly normal in grief.

“When someone you love dies, you don't just lose them in the present or in the past. You lose the future you should have had, and might have had, with them. They are missing from all the life that was to be.”
