Hoping to see some of your great art tomorrow George, would lighten up this period of darker days, after our time change. I hate seeing the sun going down already at 4.30 in the afternoon! This coming month is hard enough as it is, with the memories of that fateful day haunting me every single moment of my existence. I see from everyone's posts, sadly, that the flood gates are wide open for all of us, but we are all
here for each other, rain or shine, with total empathy and understanding. Our strength comes from our soulmates who have left us this precious gift of being a part of us, guiding us along this lonely path.

Hello everyone,

The loneliness is the hardest hurdle, I think. Somehow we have to each leap over it and find a way to fill the vacuum. It’s a very big hole. A sucking chest wound. I’m not skilled at this. Teaching lately has been a bit brutal. Kids have lost skills since COVID, and everyone is blaming teachers. It’s difficult to catch them up, because it means learning faster, which isn’t simply possible because we want it to be so.

Goodness, how I miss Steve. I don’t have anyone who will hug me and let me feel like I’m loved (just my kids, and I am trying not to be too demanding of them.) Thank you ~ all of you ~ for listening to me when all that I have to share is poop. I’m truly grateful for each of you. ❤️

 

I'm sorry.. I don't want to sound dumbA** You're a teacher.. Did not know this! I taught for 25 years in Jr. Hgh. science until the kidney disease cut short my true calling! I can't imagine a classroom in the Kovid Era! Poop is life.. I don't mind hearing it cuz thatz been my life for at least the last three years! All we can do is listen...
