Louster, we need nicknames for Gary, George and Helena and others we've missed. Your homework.[/QUOTE]
No, my dear Ms, Hum, I beg to differ.
This is homework for ALL TGW. Gary
came up with Rosette for Rose, bc you and
Rose weren't crazy about Rosester. I call
Rose, The Rose, or La Rose. But, my
all time brilliant name is for you, Ms.
    Hum. Louster

Beautiful work George! I can see a lot of detail in your artwork. I can’t imagine going through the D every other day especially in the winter. I’m glad you keep trucking me Bro. You’re an inspiration to us. Gary

Gary, the open field, space and I'll bet a great sunset. What are the names of those red bushes? Karen

Thank ya. Thank ya. Thank ya very much! Burning bush is the plant’s name. It provides good bird watching in the winter because of it’s small red berries. Gary

Nice , welcome surprise to see your art
on a Sat, George. I'm trying to look at the
world, with my glass half full.I love the
orange, red, and yellow leaves on the
trees, especially in the sunlight, and not
on the ground. Hope you have a good fall
    where you are, too. Lou

I love the bloody dagger in the heart drawing George. Good to see your heightened level of creativity today. 4 days of being in a funk for me. I was reading the 6 needs of the mourner where it says loneliness and sadness are our constant companions. Low mood and energy levels are my constant companions too. I often feel I should be progressing more in my grief journey but understand we must be very gentle and compassionate with ourselves. Kristin Neff has free self compassion audios that are helpful. The loving kindness audio is 20 minutes and others are 5 minutes. I did some mindless leaf raking and distracted myself away from my grief a while. There’s so much soy bean dust in the air now one can hardly breath. I will continue to keep reminding to stumble forward. We are the grief Warriors. We take the emotional and physical body blows and keep on trucking. Gary

I'm glad to hear from you my bro! Thatz all we can do is keep trying. Right now if I still owned The House I'd be struggling with NOT leaf raking and doing stuff like that. Low mood, motivation, energy, sick of and from dialysis, I am so tired. Keep forgiving and being kind to yourself!

Gary, I know whereof you speak. Mr.
Grief ( thank you, Karen) attacked me in
the middle of the night, without warning,
like Cato attacks Inspector Clouseau in
the movies. My favorite is Shot in the
Dark, 1964. I just Googled the fight scene,
and laughed. Clouseau ( played by Peter
Sellers) pretends to be asleep in bed , but
is wearing a martial arts outfit, under
the covers. At this point, after 4 years,
I need to laugh more than cry. Lou

Mindless leaf raking distraction from yourself, yes. For me it's raking pine needles by the heaps, but I don't mind it. Distraction.
