    Bernadine,

Way beyond frazzled... I thought I was too tired to post tonight, but, and this is another one of those really BIG!!! BUTS!!!, as soon as I saw this way beyond beautiful picture of Maggie, I had to respond!!! It's hard to believe that way beyond adorable puppy you brought home, is now a year old, still as adorable as ever!!!, TUTTAM!!! I wish I could jump right into the picture and give her a GIANT!!! hug... HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! MAGGIE!!!

Thanks so much for sharing..., for the smiles...

Backing up a bit, although I didn't respond, I read some messages before "talking" to you. So many GW, you included, are struggling with either special birthdays, anniversaries, or death dates. Bob and I went on our very first long weekend getaway during Columbus Day weekend, which now seems like it happened a life time ago, but sometimes like it was just yesterday, all at the same time. We got married in October. Autumn used to be my very favorite time of year. Now it's so over the top bittersweet, as each and every season is for TGW, our always growing GIC family... All of this SUCKS!!! (Some things never change, lol!!!), but, and this is the last really BIG!!! BUT!!! for the evening, I'll take bittersweet anytime, over the alternative.

Once again, thanks for the smiles... Smiles are one thing I can NEVER!!! get enough of, TUTTAM!!!

Sending lots of hugs and love to you and Maggie Joy, wishing you peace, all of us peace. DEB

Just though I'd post some photos I took today of our Autumn countryside.

A persimon tree (not sure if it's the correct translation, I looked it up in internet - "cachi" tree in Italian)

    Hooray George!
Love the art of course, but mostly love to see you creating. I feel that's a good sign.
And we know how grief is never far away.
Yet living with it alongside everything else enjoyed or required of life sure does produce beautiful expressions such as yours.
And really effing big feelings. I'm exhausted. Also in a kind of motion that feels more than 'making it through the day.'
    Something like that.

Bernadine, I chuckled at "effing". I'm
sure George did, too. Anniversaries will
always be bittersweet, but hopefully more
sweet than bitter over time. Lou

Thank you. She just has those winkie eyes. If I had a dog or mail cat I would name him The Fonz" from Happy Days. So, I dreamed up "The Wink"

I'm tired, Karen,so I missed it. You are
honest to point it out.You & Bernadine
are hot today. I'm having trouble keeping
up. No sun, Linda's birthday today, and a
    stressful doctor appointment have taken
    its' toll. Lou

    Lou.
Happy birthday to your beloved Linda.

I hope the rest of your day is more relaxing, after your stressful doctor's visit. It's nearly 11pm here, I'll try and get some sleep.

Thank you so much for your kind
birthday wish for Linda. It's 5pm here, &
it's been a bittersweet tiring day. Hope to
go to bed early. Pleasant dreams for both
    of us, The Rose. Lou
