Sudden loss of grandma/mom

Hi everyone my name is Payden I lost my grandmother almost a month ago on 12/7/18 the reason why I also call her mom is because she raised Me and my brother. she took care of us When my Biological mom couldn’t. Yes my Biological mom is a really good mother but she was always working so my grandma had to take care of us. The loss of my grandmother is killing me inside I feel like there’s this big dark hole pulling me into the ground. I feel like I’m not good enough sometimes. And I also feel like I want to disappear. But some people just say that’s crazy talk, but some people would say that’s how they feel too. Today has been hard I woke up this morning in my grandmas house literally and I was thinking to myself I can’t wait to see Grammy but then I remembered that she’s not here. So I walk downstairs I put her robe on and I sit in her chair and I watch TV with my pap her husband who is Also having a very hard time dealing with this Loss

 

Hi Payden, I'm sorry for your loss. I know how you feel, and I feel very much the same way. I lost my mother 3 weeks ago and I'm wearing her favourite sweater right now, it still has her scent and I know that sounds weird and kind of crazy, but it makes me feel better... and sometimes worse, depends on the day. Either way, I just can't get rid of it, not yet. It's an uphill battle... one day at a time. I wish you (and your grandfather) the very best in these dark days.
