Feeling a little better went to the store and a scene of domestic tranquility with TB and his GF making healthy dinner. with some music on in the background and a nice candle. I so hate loud obnoxious people too. I totally get it! Confusion anger sorrow that sums it up often that's when patience comes in.

    Gary,

I'm so sorry you're having such a miserable day in Mr. Grief's amusement park... I HATE!!! when seemingly out of nowhere, Mr. Grief knocks me down on that mat... winning a round, as I'm struggling to get back up..., finally standing again..., looking for the exit in this twisted park, but unable to find one. It just SUCKS!!! Backing up a bit (my chrome book keeps going in and out of slo mo mode, making it difficult for me to visit with TGW), I'm sorry your lab results weren't good. You, and all of TGW, are always in my daily prayers... I think it's good that you only allow yourself to think about the results for a very brief time and then move forward. I'm not going to bring this up again, and I hope I didn't stress you out more by mentioning it, but I just want you to know that I'm here for you, if you ever want to "talk." Stopping here.

I hope you're feeling better than you were earlier. Have a safe, uneventful trip to Michigan...

As always, sending you hugs, wishing you peace, all of us peace.

    George,

You just made me smile... I love that TB and his GF are making you a healthy dinner, complete with music, and a candle... Enjoy...

That so much reminds me of Valerie... when she went shopping she always was so happily chirpy about savings!
I'm the opposite Valerie loved TeeVee and wasn't into music. I can't watch TV. I don't even have one set up.
I'm so lucky my son is around. We make a fine team.
We went to the store and he and his GF are cooking our first real dinner in weeks. So I'm doing a bit better.
This is the first time I moved without her! We did at least 7 moves together in our 34 years.
I like the way Bob would be impressed; just like I would be.
    Many hugz for The Deb!

    Stacey,

George just made me smile, now you did it too... I love!!! that you're enjoying your beautifully decorated house!!! My very best friend is like you, she loves decorating her house for Christmas. She is a nurse and works in a very large hospital in the NICU. Every holiday season, she buys or makes gifts for all of the babies in the unit. She has been working at the same hospital since graduating from college. Every year she works whenever someone wants/needs time off, and also works every single holiday, with the exception of Christmas. She loves having her family over on Christmas Day. This is an extra special Christmas for her because it's the first one for her first grandchild. He is eight months old and so adorable!!!, TU!!! Whenever she sends me a picture or video of him, it makes me smile... I can't wait until I'm strong enough to visit "home" and get to meet him. I just want to give him the biggest hug...

Stopping here. My chrome book is going back into super slo mo mode again. It is so frustrating!!!, TU!!!

As always, sending you and Miles hugs, wishing you peace, all of us peace. DEB

    George,

I used to love decorating my house for Christmas, but this year, the only thing I'm doing is putting a wreath on the front door. Like you, all Christmas related stuff makes me over the top sad... leaves me teary eyed.

George, I never set up my TV. I'm not a
sports fanatic, so Cable, with so many
channels I don't care about, is a waste of
money for me. I'd rather pay so much a
month for my phone, which has all the
bells & whistles. Also, the money can go to
    occasional restaurants, especially the
    Shack!! Lou

I too am not much into sports; especially they are so loud and obnoxious and full of commercials. Most people in Chicago are sports crazed I think!

Same in Boston. Linda & I had a secret
joke. Whenever a certain cab driver
picked us up, and had the Patriots game
on ---loud, we'd look at each other &
say, "FTP" ( F**k The Patriots). The driver
would ask us what the initials were, & we
would laugh & say it was a private joke. L

George, I just got caught up on all these posts, especially yours. Jack and I have moved six times in our 39 years together. When looking at boxes inside, outside in the garage, in the Van on the trailer I decided every day I would unload two boxes only, until I finished. Jack was too busy unloading his equipment, ancient tools, everything he drug from one place to another he kept from doing landscaping he wasn't able to help me. So, two boxes every day and it really didn't matter how long it took, my energy came first on the list. Is George living with you? Your step son I think you mentioned? One day at a time for all of us, take care George, Karen

This is my first move in 17 years so it was pretty crazy. George aka TB (The Boy) (is not a step son) lives with me. Since Valerie got sick he came home from Milwaukee to help out and we pooled our resources and make a pretty good team. My nerves won't allow me to unpack a few at a time but I must pace myself too. It's hard to relax with things so chaotic, and then I have my job of dialysis patient too. But I'm doing better after the first home cooked meal in 5-6 weeks! With Valerie we moved around 7 times. It was so strange moving without her! Take care!

Like all the crazed Bears fans here! I just can't groove to F-ball. If I had to pick a sport I could watch is baseball but it has gotten too commercialized

George, I AGRER about baseball! Went
with friends, at 7 years old (!) to see
Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park. Really
got into it, in the 70s, after college, when I
sat with my buddies in the bleachers,
drinking beer. Knew all the players.
Over time, I lost interest. I got a little
excited recently, when the Sox were good,
and watched the games at the Shack ( on
mute, with music in background). Now that
Sox lost, I don't care again! Lou

Baseball in the 70s was great! I watched every game on FREE TeeVee. The stupid ass Cubz! It was soothing.

About the only thing I can handle on TV is the weather channel. I just bought two Led Zeppelin CDs Led Zeppelin II and Led Zeppelin three. I listen to police scanner more than anything else. Glad to hear you had a home cooked meal tonight George. Karen you’re the first person other than my mother I’ve heard say “sleep tight.” I guess that’s an old German term because they used ropes underneath the bed to support their mattresses. And if the ropes came loose they sank. Sleep tight GWs. Tomorrow is another day on the emotional roller coaster at Mr Grief Amusement park. Gary

Gary. missed you, brother! About to go to
bed. Was having fun with George. We have
a lot in common. We're not sports fans,
except we liked baseball, back in the 70s.
When there was live horse racing, Linda
& I liked seeing the horses, & putting
down 2 dollar bets. Suffolk Downs in
Boston closed. Glad we went when we did.
Both Deb & I like your amusement park
reference. Hope you have pleasant dreams.

Deb mentioned watching mindless tv shows, again. Which I also do to help me through the long and very lonely evenings now. I wanted to share that I found Kevin Nealon (actor/director - best known for his work on SNL a few years back) has a YouTube Channel called Hiking With Kevin. He goes on hikes and has a celebrity guest join him on the hike and they visit/he interviews them. It's been really enjoyable for me. I highly recommend it if you enjoy that sort of thing. Along the lines of Jerry Seinfeld's Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee (which I also love - another great time waster). I love listening to people visit. Unless they're obnoxious loud women who dominate the conversation in coffee shops! Amiright Lou? ♥
