    DEB, from South Carolina, is
    my closest, Karen, from
    California, is the first widow
to welcome me 2 years ago, and
Georgine, also from South Carolina, who became a member
recently. I'm the oldest of 3
    widowers here: Gary, from
    Indiana, and George, from
    Illinois. Hope you will become
our 4th brother in grief. We will
    help each other. Lou

    Bruce, please text me this
morning. I live in the small,
    seaside town of Rockport.
    Massachusetts. But, I often take
bus, or train , to the nearby
    city of Gloucester, America's
Oldest Seaport. I have to take
the noon bus on a gloomy,
rainy day today, but trying to
focus , & do some errands. Lou

Bruce, sorry to hear you have no
    phone. You may want to
    consider buying one. My
    Android Smart Phone has been
    my lifeline since Linda died.
    My Verizon plan has unlimited
    phone service & Internet.If too
    expensive, you could try
    Consumer Cellular, or a simple
    Tracphone. Otherwise, keep
posting on GIC. and we will
    reply, at different times. Lou

Talk to me now, Bruce. People
on Grief in Common ( GIC) want
to talk with you, but we're in
different time zones. I'm on a
    bus,so this is a perfect time. I
    know you're having a hard .
    time getting started on this
    site,but you're doing a lot
better than I did, when I
    started. You were brave enough
to join us. Hope you stay, and
    don't give up!! Lou,

    Bruce ( "Kelso"): A suggestion:
    Try to direct your comment
    to an individual person, instead
of to our whole group. For example: to me,Lou, or to
George ( "eyepilot 13"). We will
    reply to you quickly. Both
George and I know what it
means to be alone and depressed after the deaths of our
    soulmates. Lou

Bruce, please tell me how you
are feeling this afternoon . I
    appreciate that you told me
your real first name, and that of
your wife, Terry. That was the
first step for me when Linda
died over 4 & a half years ago.
On dark days, I can't believe
she's not physically by my side.
Today is a beautiful, sunny 70
degree day here and my spirits
have been lifted. I went to a
    grief counselor after Linda died,
and the counselor said I'd have
good days &bad days. She's right.
I've also been able to smile, and
    even laugh, again. Hard to
believe, but you will, too, Bruce.
    Have you considered seeing a
    grief counselor? It worked for
me. She suggested GIC ,which has been very supportive. Lou
