I’m sorry you’re having such a hard time. And now your first wedding anniversary. All anniversaries, birthdays etc are so hard to know what to do or how to be. Many people like Rose mentioned just treat those days like any other day. I totally get that but it doesn’t go well for me to do that. I need to honor Ron even more then I do on a daily basis. I’ve released biodegradable balloons, I’ve had family over to share memories and what they loved about Ron. Planted trees in Ron’s honor. I’ve done many different things, and I feel Ron’s presence and know he appreciates my efforts. I tried to just make one of our special dates be a normal day. I felt sick and vowed to never try that again. But for others that’s what feels right for them. We each need to do what feels best for us and no matter what it might be make it what you need.
