My mom passed 2 days ago due to negligence from the ER. I am completely broken and dont how to go on.. she was my best friend and my entire world. I dont know how to do this.
I'm in the same boat as you. I believe negligence caused my mom's passing also. She went by ambulance to the ER because she collapsed. She had a seizure in the ambulance en route to the hospital and kept having them once she got there. they pumped her full of anti-seizure medication but she never woke up and they never did anything to find out why. She laid there for six days unresponsive and then she passed away. She too was my best friend and though it's been 5 months it feels like it was just yesterday and I'm still trying to figure out how I'm supposed to go on without her. I'm so sorry for your loss I know exactly how it feels. People tell me all the time that it will get easier as time goes by but I just don't see how that's possible. Your loss is still very new but the best advice I have so far is to keep busy. I also have a journal and I write to her all the time. That really helps too. Because there is still so much that we need to tell our moms and it really does help to get it out onto paper. No matter what, she will always be with you just like mine will always be with me. I hope one day you find some peace.. Even if it's just a little bit
