Loss of my husband over drug addiction

    I loss my husband due to drug addiction after giving birth to our second son exactly 12 weeks after he was born in the same hospital. I have guilt and pain inside killing me with the loss of my husband and especially when our 3 year old son says, "Daddy in Heaven? Why" It has been since 9-11-18 since he has passed away and it has been really hard to not cry hard and long with the loss of him.

    I'm sorry for your loss. It's OK to cry hard and long over your husband's death. You might need to wait until you three year old is asleep, but tears are healing.

    Thank you! It's been really hard on a daily basis to continue onward since he has been gone.

    I know. Going to work is both a Godsend and a burden. Hard to do, but at least it gives me something else to think about for a few hours. I've lost interest in a lot of things...I've dropped out of two volunteer positions at church. Just don't have the emotional energy for it anymore.
