I keep hearing about people getting sick with colds that sucks! Thatz why self care is so important to be kind to yourself!

Like Karen, I get a kick out of your
wild spellings ( "Kool", for cool, etc) phrases & emojis, of which we're limited
on this site. I love orange juice, and take a
Multivitamin with it. Like Valerie, I
do not like taste , or smell ,of honey but use
    it as
    medicine. Lou

like the smell & taste of however

Medicinal honey is cool I'm glad you like my miss spellings and shit way of writing cuz Valerie would probably call it sloppy but since I have an undergrad degree in English teaching I absolve myself and all others I contact with. You seem better from the tone of your responses. I hoper thatz true!

You’re welcome! I know that blank spot you speak of. Such and empty lost feeling. I agree we need to get past the holiday hype. To feel any better. It happens so very very slowly it’s almost like you’re not ever feeling any better or stronger. Then one day a little something changes in the pain. Less tears, a memory brings a smile, something, and you probably won’t even realize until later. It’s that small of an emotional change. But those moments eventually happen more often. We’ll get there and make our spouses proud. Robin

I agree, Robin! Linda & I had a silly laugh
over "phlegm", and, in her memory, I had
    that sample laugh today. Lou

Lou, forgot to mention yesterday -- what has helped many plus myself is with the honey a couple of lemon squeezed in hot water works great.
I like your idea of a cab to a nurse practitioner if you need meds she can prescribe. On reflection, I do agree not wanting to go to the hospital especially with covid.

Yes, I'm ok. Finally power is on. Misery loves company. I didn't have my Jack when the power went out. I roamed the house talking to him.

Haha! Very mature, like jokes about
farting! Need many laughs this past week.
I know I would've liked Ron, Deb's husband, Bob, and all the other husbands,
    for their "guy humor". Lou

I love the brother's "guy humor". Jack would not of been a person to be on this forum. I appreciate you guys who are.

Thanks. Karen, I appreciate you on here,
too. You are very kind and supportive, and
welcoming to new members. You always
    give me a laugh. "Lpu"
